Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood hits theatres this weekend, and the film's accompanying soundtrack has finally been detailed.
The soundtrack will be released tomorrow (July 26) digitally and on CD via Columbia Records. A limited number of vinyl copies will be available at Amoeba Records and at Tarantino's New Beverly Cinema this weekend, with a wide vinyl release expected sometime in the fall.
The OST was curated by Tarantino and features hits from the 1960s by the likes of the Bob Seger System, Deep Purple, Paul Revere & the Raiders, Simon & Garfunkel and Neil Diamond. It also includes "Dinamite Jim (English Version)," the classic Spaghetti Western track from Nico Fidenco featuring the late Alessandro Alessandroni's legendary Italian vocal ensemble I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni.
There are also plenty of timely advertisements that serve as interludes, including spots for products like Mug Root Beer, Tanya Tanning Butter and Summer Blonde.
