Pulp's 'Different Class' to Finally Get North American Vinyl Release

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 12, 2014

Classic Britpop act Pulp released their celebrated album Different Class in 1995, in the midst of the CD era. With those days now far behind us, the LP is finally set to get its first-ever North American vinyl pressing.

The full details of the release haven't yet been confirmed, but it's set to be released on 180-gram vinyl this summer through Plain Recordings.

There have been various UK vinyl pressings over the years. There's no indication as to whether this version will include any bonus songs; various extra cuts from the era have previously been released on CD, so there's no shortage of material.

Different Class includes the hit singles "Common People" and "Disco 2000." It also topped the UK albums chart and won the 1996 Mercury Music Prize.
