Pop Levi

Pop Levi made sure his show counted by putting on an exuberant glam rock show dotted with some fine Spinal Tap poses. Levi and his backing band ran through a set that covered much of their North American debut, the curiously tilted Return To Form Black Magick Party. Instead of reproducing those songs verbatim though, the band extended them into loud psychedelic freak-outs. All the while, Levi remaining the sole centre of attention, shimmied and jived with the assured swagger of a man convinced that he is the next incarnation of Marc Bolan.
