POP ETC used to be known as the Morning Benders, and while they haven't garnered as much acclaim under the new name as they did with the old one, they're going to be taking another kick at the can into 2015. Ahead of their next album, they've shared a new single.
"Running in Circles" is a thumping synth-pop banger, with rhythms driven by insistent drum machine and subwoofer-ratting synth-bass. As the catchy arrangement swells, it incorporates shimmering, watery guitars that are ripped straight out of '80s pop radio.
