Montreal electro champ Poirier launched his own Also Records last year, but he won't be using that label to release his next EP. Rather, he'll be teaming with the German imprint Man Recordings for Alert Riddim, which is slated to arrive on June 22.
The collection contains three different guest vocalist. Natalie Storm shows up on "Gal U Good," while MC Zulu contributes to "Call Red Alert" and Face-T appears on "The Realness." Rounding out the EP is the title track, which doesn't appear to feature a vocal cameo.
That's the EP's artwork above and the tracklist below. Interestingly, the June 22 release day is a Friday, which is unusual given that albums usually drop on Monday in Europe and Tuesday in North America.
You can pre-order a digital copy here.
Alert Riddim follows Poirier's prior 2012 EP Soca Road. According to his website, he has "many more EPs in the works," including one called Kidnap Riddim.
