Paradise Animals specialize in hazy, electro-tinged pop, but the Toronto band evidently have a fondness for folk too, since they just released a cover of Bonnie "Prince" Billy's "Wolf Among Wolves" in anticipation of their June 15 show at Toronto's El Mocambo for NXNE.
According to a press release, the song showcases Bonnie "Prince" Billy's folk storytelling while also "introducing a dreamy lustre to the production that makes it uniquely their own."
Download it from Bandcamp, and be sure to check out the band at NXNE when they showcase their new lineup featuring recently added drummer Morgan Doctor.
Until then, Paradise Animals will be in the studio recording the follow-up to this year's EP, which we can expect to arrive in the fall.
