PEI pop-rock outfit Paper Lions are preparing to release their album My Friends on August 20 through their own Fountain Pop Records, and they have shared the album cut "My Friend" via an inventive lyric video.
The song (which is one letter shy of being the title track) is a hooky pop number flecked with soft-focus keys, sprightly indie rock guitars and soft falsetto choruses. We see the words via a series of postcards, which are individually addressed to fans around the world, and are posted in time with the song.
