Pantera

Three Vulgar Videos From Hell

BY Max DeneauPublished May 1, 2006

Compiling all three of Pantera’s infamous home videos, in addition to a full set worth of footage from the Monsters Of Rock Festival in Moscow, this double-disc marathon of the group’s self-proclaimed "power groove” is clearly a must purchase for those who never owned the VHS editions. The live material is crisp and well-recorded, while the backstage footage ranges from excessive drinking to downright unbelievable high-jinx, pranks and hotel room destruction. There is much documentation of the many friends Pantera made while on the road, and seeing the late Dimebag Darrell jamming onstage with dearly departed Alice In Chains front-man Layne Stayley is downright surreal.
