Osheaga's 2014 Lineup Tease, Sled Island's Return and Fucked Up's 'Glass Boys' in Our News Roundup

Once again, it was another busy week in the music world, especially with summer festival season right around the corner. If you feel you missed something, let us help you get back on top of things.

First off, it was a big week for Canadian festival announcements. Not only did Montreal's Osheaga tease its 2014 lineup via a pretty amazing guessing game mural, but we got lineup announcements from Calgary's Sled Island, Heavy Montreal, St. John's Lawnya Vawnya, Suoni Per Il Popolo, and Halifax's OBEY Convention.

Also up here in Canada, Fucked Up announced their new album Glass Boys and their Year of the Dragon 12-inch, White Lung signed to Domino, Dan Mangan launched his own record label, and Bry Webb announced a new solo record too. Oh, and Kevin Drew spoke to us about Torquil Campbell's Field Trip rant (don't worry, he still loves the guy).

In other news, tUnE-yArDs announced her Nikki Nack, Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden may be joining forces for a North American tour, and Stooges' James Williamson has roped in the likes of Mark Lanegan, Ariel Pink and Jello Biafra to take on some old Raw Power-era material, without the help of Iggy Pop.
