If you've seen the purported 2012 lineup for Osheaga that's been floating around the web, we've got some bad news for you: it's fake. That said, the details of the latest edition of the Montreal festival are beginning to come together, and the organizers have officially announced a couple of the performers that will play between August 3 and 5.
In a tweet last night (March 13), the organizers wrote, "After their sold out show at the Bell Centre we are proud to announce that The Black Keys will be headlining @Osheaga 2012 !!"
This follows an announcement from earlier this month (March 3) that Young the Giant would be playing the festival.
So what else do we know about Osheaga 2012? Well, it will be coming to Montreal's Parc Jean-Drapeau from August 3 to 5. You can check out the festival's new website here, and scroll to the bottom of this page to watch a recent retrospective video about the 2011 edition of the event.
