Following the release of their forward-thinking new album, Watershed, earlier this year, Swedish metal warriors Opeth have announced a massive tour that will find them traversing North America and Europe. Joining them for the North American dates will be High On Fire, Nachtmystium and Baroness.
The tour kicked off in Buffalo, NY with High On Fire and Nachtmystium last night, and will continue through the East coast before surfacing in Canada for dates in Quebec City and London, ON next week. Then its back to the States until the end of September, where the bands will play Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton and Vancouver. After that, Nachtmystium will tag out for Baroness to join the remainder of the U.S. tour before Opeth jump the pond for some year-ending European dates.
