Operators have been hinting at their new album, and now Dan Boeckner's Wolf Parade offshoot have officially announced their sophomore effort. Radiant Dawn will be out on May 17 via Last Gang Records.

According to a press release, Radiant Dawn was made with "raw analog hardware," resulting in a "1970s sci-fi dystopian feel."

The album was made in 2018 and early 2019, with sessions taking place in Montreal and Vancouver Island. It was co-produced with Boeckner's Wolf Parade bandmate Arlen Thompson, in addition to Montreal songwriter Napster Vertigo. It was mastered by Grammy-winner Emily Lazar.
