Working on the basis that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, James Zabiela and Nic Fanciulli have combined to create a DJ project that has achieved some remarkable hype in the EDM community. Certainly the One+One name has grown due to a regimented touring schedule, and the tech-nerd progressive style of legend Sashas protégé Zabiela alongside the cool house graces of Fanciulli has proven to be an intriguing blend for many. Though the idea is well packaged and the mixes delectable it is not the album many might have hoped for from two producers so gifted individually. It is hard to tell it apart from what could easily have been the product of either member and as such, it fails in its fundamental principle. Both sides feature exquisite progressive mixes but it is really only the bonus download disc that explores some depth of experimental style, which could be attributed to the mutual influences of the DJs, who are each so sufficiently talented that they are capable of creating the first two sides without any collaboration.
