Octoberman has already made a couple of videos from this year's Waiting in the Well, and now the Marc Morrissette-led folk rock outfit have unveiled another. It's for the album cut "Waiting for Christine."
In an email to Exclaim!, Morrissette explained, "The song was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's domestic relationship with Sien (Christine), a pregnant sex worker who was a model for his early work." Appropriately enough, the clip takes viewers inside of some 3D, animated versions of Van Gogh's paintings.
Octoberman will perform in Toronto at the Local on December 15. Waiting in the Well is out now through Saved by Vinyl.
