At the end of a 30-degree day, a cramped club can get pretty hot. Or as Best Coast singer Bethany Cosentino put it, "I feel so aware of all the different parts of my body — they're all sweating." Still, the intense heat didn't stop the sweaty Garrison crowd from swaying along to the band's breezy, reverb-drenched set, which pulled from Cosentino and multi-instrumentalist Bobb Bruno's highly acclaimed collection of seven-inches. The duo eased through hits like "Sun Was High (So Was I)" and "When I'm With You," but it was "Crazy for You," the first single and title track from the band's forthcoming debut album, that set the tone for the set, whetting appetites for the band's debut.
