NOFX Drop Out of Punk Rock Bowling Festival After Receiving 'Hate Messages and Threats'
Way back in 2018, NOFX drew the ire of audiences when they made insensitive jokes about the Las Vegas massacre while performing in Las Vegas. Since then, they've apologized twice for their actions, but remained convinced that they were blacklisted. Now, years later, they've backed out of a Las Vegas performance after receiving "hate messages and threats."

The band had been scheduled to headline the first night of the Punk Rock Bowling festival but opted to drop out after receiving messages over the jokes they made in the past.

NOFX have been replaced by Descendents and released a statement explaining that they've decided to dip out of respect for those they offended.

"This event is my reunion, it's my convention, and it's my church…." the band's Fat Mike said. "I was so fucking excited to play it this year….. but sadly we are not going to. NOFX had a meeting this week and decided we shouldn't play out of respect that wounds are still healing."
