Nickelback's Social Media Presence Is Weirdly Endearing

Their Twitter feed is guaranteed to give you the warm-and-fuzzies

Nickelback have dealt with more than their fair share of haters over the years, and they've got into some heated feuds with the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Slipknot's Corey Taylor and Royal Blood. Lately, however, they've opted for a far less salty public relations strategy. In fact, their social media presence is aggressively friendly these days, and frankly, it's quite endearing.

The Canadian combo's Twitter feed is largely dedicated to two things: posting concert photos and sending personalized messages to their fans. These range from simple thank-yous to genuinely touching messages.

In one recent exchange, a fan wrote than Nickelback had been a source of comfort during her difficult high school years, and the band responded like this:
Occasionally, the group — or whoever on their team handles the social media accounts — make light-hearted jokes about the band members themselves.
They have also weighed in on some matters of public interest, such as posting tributes to late celebs or sharing an inspirational message on International Women's Day.
Every now and then, they also have some good-natured interaction with fellow musicians like Monster Truck, ROAM or rapper Wiz Khalifa.
