Chillwave alumnus Alan Palomo is about to release his third album as Neon Indian, and before VEGA INTL. Night School drops on October 16 through Mom + Pop Music, the entire thing is available to stream.
The ship has well and truly sailed on chillwave, since this album is a sonic departure from the scene that birthed Neon Indian. While he still specializes in synth-based pop, his new sound is glitzy and sparkling, with jam-packaged arrangements, funky grooves and a few big singalong choruses.
