No one should be surprised that this album ends on track number 13, and no fan of the Nekromantix should be disappointed either. Life is a Grave is quite simply a fun album, with lyrical topics reserved for cars, ghouls and girls. If the Nekromantix were a car, the drums would be the engine, the bass would be the driver, the guitar would be the flames down the side and you know that it would be one hell of a ride. The backup vocals sound like a pack of ghosts and ghouls, while lead vocalist Kim Nekroman could be a priest overseeing a funeral service in hell. Some of the better tracks are the amusing "Horny In A Hearse, the jazzy-sounding "Out Comes The Batz, "Voodoo Shop Hop, a tale about creating zombies, and the title track, which speeds along at a breakneck pace that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
