Proving Neil Young has no shortage of archival material, he's once again cracking open his treasure trove.

Today Young announced a bunch of archival releases, including Way Down in the Rust Bucket, Return to Greendale and Neil Young Archives Vol. 2. And if that wasn't enough, he also has a concert film called The Timeless Orpheum incoming.

Way Down in the Rust Bucket arrives on December 6. It chronicles Young and Crazy Horse's gig at Santa Cruz's Catalyst Club in November 1990, during the Ragged Glory era. Return to Greendale, meanwhile, arrives on November 6 and is a live set from 2003 in support of his Greendale album. Then the Neil Young Archives Vol. 2 box set will also come on November 6, marking the follow-up to 2009's Vol. 1.

Finally, Young teased The Timeless Orpheum, which was filmed at the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis, MN, on January 28, 2019. "It is a concert film with a lot of twists and turns," Young explained, "telling my story and yours and our history together." So far, there is no firm release date for the film.

"In these days, like you, I have been staying at home as much as I can, and that's a lot," Young said in the announcement post on Neil Young Archives. "I have been working, staying busy with projects that have come into being because of the crisis we are sharing."

As recently reported, Young is launching a legal war against Donald Trump, as well as paying a bunch of money to "disengage" with Facebook and Google.
