Vancouver-based post-punk outfit N0V3L have revealed plans for their debut full-length album NON-FICTION, which is set to arrive through Flemish Eye on May 28.

A collection of "agile, carefully-constructed post-punk, new wave and funk that's been zapped and warped by an opioid overdose crisis, mental illness, [and] populism," the album was recorded at the group's shared West Coast rental before the home became "another casualty" of the Vancouver housing market.

Produced by Bryce Cloghesy, the 11-track record marks N0V3L's first release since their 2019 self-titled EP

Today, the band have shared the forthcoming record's lead single "GROUP DISEASE," which finds N0V3L confronting the "accelerating violence of populism" in just under four minutes.
