"Runaway" (video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jul 15, 2016

Before Toronto titans MSTRKRFT have you dialling up their Operator in full, the dance music duo are looking to make you move to another pre-release single. You can pick up some wild and wobbly moves via the tutorial that is their new video for "Runaway."

The song itself starts with a seasick, broken Speak & Spell melody, though Jesse Keeler and Al-P quickly lock into a fabulously swerved, French Touch groove.

Visually, the piece is driven by a wriggly limbed individual whose journey has him poppin' by park benches, twisting in used car lots, and cruising over to a motel room. His lithe, leather-jacketed body eventually collapses, but the clip ends on a decidedly "lit" note.

You can peep the visuals below, courtesy of Pitchfork, while Operator hits retailers July 22 via Last Gang Records.
