Morrissey's New T-Shirt Shows a Cop Beating the Hell out of Someone

This morning (September 19) Morrissey gave us the details of his new album Low in High School. If you found that didn't bring you enough controversy, though, Moz has now revealed a politically charged new T-shirt.

Never one to shy away from eyebrow-raising bits of merch, the former Smiths leader has unveiled a new shirt with a print featuring the new song title "Who Will Protect Us from the Police?" To go along with that, the shirt comes complete with an image of a police officer beating the living hell out of someone.

You can see the T-shirt for yourself up above.

The shirt is set for release on November 17, the same day that Low in High School will arrive via BMG. If you'd like to order yourself one, you can do so here.

Earlier this year, Morrissey released a T-shirt featuring civil rights activist James Baldwin, along with the Smiths' lyrics "I wear black on the outside / 'Cause black is how I feel on the inside" — a fashion item that rightly didn't sit well with a lot of folks out there.
