Hailing from Japan, post-rock instrumentalists Mono have announced that they will be releasing a new album titled For My Parents.
The new record is slated to arrive on September 4 via Temporary Residence Limited. It will mark the follow-up to 2009's Hymn to the Immortal Wind.
According to Pitchfork, the band have issued a statement, which reads: "We hope that this album serves as a gift from child to parent." It continues, "While everything else continues to change, this love remains a constant throughout time."
For the new LP, the band were reportedly joined by the Wordless Music Orchestra, who appeared on the 2010 live album Holy Ground.
