Peterborough, ON's Mokomokai recently reinforced their metal might by becoming a four-piece, just in time for an Ontario tour in support of their new EP Poison Whiptail.

Produced and mixed by Ian Blurton, the new EP draws heavily from the new wave of British heavy metal, collecting singles both rare and previously unreleased. In paying homage to their musical heroes, a cover version of Deep Purple's "Bloodsucker" is also included.

If you're looking to see how much harder the band's metal mastery hits in a live setting, their Ontario tour dates are listed below, including stops in Kingston, Oshawa, their native Peterborough, Kitchener, Guelph, Ottawa and Sudbury.

The band are also at work on a full-length LP that is expected in early 2017, but until that rolls around, hear Poison Whiptail in its entirety in the player below.
