Miguel

"Simplethings"

In addition to some previously released tracks, the upcoming Girls soundtrack will tote a few exclusive goodies, including one from R&B fave Miguel. Now, ahead of the February 11 due date through Atlantic Records, you can sample Mig's spacious "Simplethings."

Paired upfront with the singer's silken lines about cozying up to his gal is a wickedly distorted six-string, though a couple extra drum flourishes and ambient synth tones make themselves heard as the low-key love jam unfolds. According to Mig, he's not looking for a model or debutante, just a "free spirit" that will smoke in bed with him.

That's a double entendre if we've ever heard one, and you can inhale the singer's sultry new single via the player down below.

As previously reported, Girls Volume 2: All Adventurous Women Do... Music From the HBO Original Series arrives as a digital-only release featuring music from Jenny Lewis, Cat Power, Vampire Weekend and more.
