Hot on the heels of Belle and Sebastian's LateNightTales compilation, Metronomy have become the latest group to announce a mix for the long-running series. The British experimental electro-pop outfit are curating the next instalment, and it will be out on September 3 in the UK.
Among the diverse artists Metronomy have selected to appear on their comp are Outkast, Autechre, Cat Power, Herman Dune, the Alan Parson's Project and Chick Corea. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to hear snippets of tracks from the album condensed into a disorienting four-minute medley.
Best of all for Metronomy fans, the band will be offering up one exclusive track just for the occasion: a cover of Jean Michel Jarre's "Hypnose."
