Mercury Program

Here is a surreal quartet from Florida that plays some rather progressive slow-core music, yet reside far from the Illinois region of the United States, where the genre seems to emanate and flourish from. What makes them odd is that there are strokes of classical disciplines that are played over some rather palatable Karate or Don Caballero-esque rhythms. The bass and drum interplay is enough to make the batteries of any calculator short out and the enjoyment factor of the disc is a college math degree all unto its own. Adventurous and astonishing.
