Melvins are gearing up to introduce their Pinkus Abortion Technician next month, but in the meantime, they are giving us another taste with a new video for album cut "Embrace the Rub."
The clip was directed by Mackie Osborne and it's a wild one, to be sure. Within, you'll be hit with rapidfire images of creepy-cute dolls, flames, wild cats and quite the racoon.
Of the song itself, Melvins' Dale Crover said, "'Embrace the Rub' is a Steven McDonald penned, punker tune throwback to his days as a young Hawthorne, CA punk hanging out with Black Flag. For some reason, I decided that this tune really needed a piano part."
You can watch the video for "Embrace the Rub" below.
As previously reported, Pinkus Abortion Technician is due out April 20 via Ipecac Recordings. The band also have a massive North American tour, complete with Canadian dates, coming up. You can see all those here.
