Megan Thee Stallion Gets Her Own "Hottie Sauce," Popeyes Franchises

The rap superstar is collaborating with Popeyes on a new hot sauce, merch line and her very own franchise locations

As if dominating the music and conservative outrage industries wasn't enough, Megan Thee Stallion is now setting her laser beam of charisma on the world of fast food.

Today, the mega-star rapper announced a new collaborative venture with Popeyes Chicken — a hot-enough-for-the-hotties hot sauce called, fittingly, "Hottie Sauce," which will arrive in stores worldwide on October 19.

Hottie Sauce will be available as a dipping sauce or as an addition to the chain's famous chicken sandwich. It's described as "a sweet and bold sauce with a hint of spice," made from honey, cider vinegar and Aleppo pepper. That sounds pretty good!

Since Megan Thee Stallion tends to go big, the sauce is only the tip of the chicken tender — Meg and Popeyes will also be releasing a line of Thee Stallion-branded merch called "Thee Heat," which will include bikinis, shirts, hats, tumblers and Popeyes chicken tenders plush dog toys (!).

And because Megan Thee Stallion tends to go even bigger, she has also become a franchise owner and will be opening her very own Popeyes locations.

Part of this multi-million-dollar team-up is going to a good cause, with Meg and Popeyes donating a six-figure sum to Houston Random Acts of Kindness, an organization that promotes empathy and compassion in Houston.

And finally, in a piece of weapon's grade, Marvel-extended-universe-style branding synergy, today also saw the release of Megan Thee Stallion's Hot Ones episode, where she discusses her love of anime, her collaboration with BTS, and the secret sauce that goes into creating a hit song. You can check it out below.

Megan Thee Stallion is far from the first superstar to collaborate with a fast-food chain — Migos teamed up with Popeyes back in 2019, while Travis Scott, BTS, J Balvin and Saweetie have all collaborated with McDonald's recently.
