Having begun their farewell tour earlier this year, Lynyrd Skynyrd have now announced plans to celebrate their storied career with a new run of dates in Canada.
The Southern rockers' farewell run will now continue into next year, beginning with eight Canadian stops ahead of further shows in the United States and beyond.
Throughout March, Skynyrd will make stops in Ottawa, Windsor, London, Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, Calgary and Abbotsford, with the Randy Bachman Band providing support.
A press release notes that even more star power will come on the run, with Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels Band, Bad Company, the Marshall Tucker Band, 38 Special, Blackberry Smoke and Blackfoot continuing on as special guests.
Special guest lineups specific to each stop will be announced in the future. Tickets for all Canadian dates go on sale to the public November 2 at 10 a.m. local time.
