Lizzo is back with her first new material since 2019's Cuz I Love You. The Cardi B-featuring single "Rumors" is out now, along with an Ancient Greece-themed video.
The song is an extremely self-aware pop-rap banger in which Lizzo assesses tabloid chatter about herself and agrees, "All the rumours are true." Well, except for one: "No I ain't fuck Drake, yet."
A very pregnant Cardi B drops by with a similar message, beginning her verse by rapping, "All the rumours are true, yeah / Fake ass, fake boobs, yeah."
In the accompanying video, Lizzo and Cardi are bedazzled in gold robes as they dance atop Corinthian columns, sit on a throne amidst ass-shaped clouds, and eventually meet up for a big final routine. The video was directed by Tanu Muino. Watch it below.
