Liar's Academy

Subtle songwriting and consistently interesting guitar hooks make Liars Academy’s latest Demons an easy listen. Their sound is easily compared to Jawbreaker or fellow New Jersey-based band Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start. "Ghosts of Baltimore” is one of the stronger songs on the CD, even if it verges on generic modern rock. But, like most songs on the record, the guitar work and the convincing storytelling bring this record from decent to enjoyable.
