Following last year's Liquid EP with producer Boody, NY rapper Le1f is now moving ahead with a new release called Fly Zone. The mixtape drops January 28 through Greedhead/Camp & Street, but you can check out the freelease's "Coins" just under a week ahead of time.
Featuring production work from Drippin and Souldrop, the song is a surreal slow-rider full of laser gun sounds and occasionally scattershot snare hits. Lyrically, Le1f gets all kinds of weird on the cut, running from a slurred flow comparing himself to Sid Vicious, to a pitch-raising squeak about his apparently awesome odour ("I hope I smell just like money smell"). Cha-ching!
