Laura Marling is set to return with her new studio album Short Movie, so it's apt that she's shared a short film in advance of the record's release.
The six-minute clip — titled Woman Driver — was directed by Chris Perkel, as part of the 72 Hour National Film Challenge in Marfa, TX, where it won Best in Genre, Best Actress and Best Soundtrack.
That soundtrack features three new songs from Marling, who also co-wrote the film and stars as a hitchhiker who catches a ride in a school bus RV.
