Published Jul 16, 2013British singer-songwriter Laura Marling may have dropped her band for the recording of fourth album Once I Was An Eagle, but she definitely retained her plaintive lyrics and style.
We met up with her at Toronto's 99 Sudbury to hear "Once," from the new album. In the intimate space, Marling's lyrics become even more resonant, accompanied only by quiet guitar plucking that accentuates her strong vocals. Watch the performance below.
