Laura Marling is going electric with her Short Movie, but the British songwriter sticks with acoustic guitar on the newly unveiled track "I Feel Your Love."
Unlike the full-band sound we've heard on other album tracks ("Short Movie" and "False Hope"), "I Feel Your Love" is almost entirely based on nimble, urgent acoustic guitar. The soundscape is fleshed out with lush strings, but there's still plenty of room for Marling's impassioned vibrato to shine.
Short Movie will arrive on March 24 through Ribbon Music/Virgin EMI.
