Krays

Amped up punk rock that has the melodic energy of old Youth Brigade and Naked Raygun is the kind of thing the Krays are about. Hailing from New York, they wisely avoid the macho trappings of their hometown scene on their third release. You won't hear too many fist-pumping chants among the 13 tunes on this record; it's mostly quite speedy and decidedly not metal. You get the feeling that they'd be pros at whipping a live crowd into a frenzy. There's also a cover of the Toxic Reasons song "No Pity" to round things out and show off their hardcore credentials.
