Korn are set to deliver new album The Nothing come the end of next week, and the band have now announced plans to launch a podcast series of the same name.

As a press release notes, the forthcoming six-part fictional series "tells the story of journalist Matt Singer who travels to the small town of Wellden, KS, to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a teenage girl. He soon discovers not everything is as it seems in the rural community, and finds himself heading into his own heart of darkness."

A trailer for the series, which can be viewed below, also doubles as a visualizer for new song "Can You Hear Me," which will appear on The Nothing. It follows previously shared singles "Cold" and "You'll Never Find Me."

The Nothing podcast was co-written by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes and will star Keir O'Donnell, Darri Ingolfsson and Mikayla S. Campbell. While a concrete air date has yet to be revealed, the series is set to hit streaming services in October.

The Nothing  — the album — is due out September 13 via Roadrunner Records/Elektra. Korn recently finished a co-headlining tour alongside Alice in Chains.
