Last year, Das Racist dropped their debut album Relax, but 2012 will apparently see the dudes jumping back in the online mixtape game. First up is The Palm Wine Drinkard, the solo mixtape debut from Kool A.D. (aka Victor Vazquez).
Apparently recorded recently during a Christmas vacation in Cuba with his sister, a press release describes The Palm Wine Drinkard as "an amalgam of beats, chants, and reprises," and upon further inspection, the 10-song affair dabbles in sexed-up, minimalist electro ("Titties Out,"), spacey slow-mo R&B grinds ("Girls And Women") and insanely undanceable sax skronk ("Antenna Man's Theme").
You can download the mixtape, apparently the first of three solo joints from the Das Racist crew this year, over here.
