Kid Sister Plays 'Kiss & Tell' on New EP

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 17, 2011

Kid Sister's 2009 debut LP Ultraviolet was long delayed and excessively hyped. Hopefully, we won't have quite such an excruciating wait for the follow-up, as the hip-hop star also known as Melisa Young has announced a new EP in anticipation of her next full-length.

The EP is called Kiss & Tell, and it follows her similarly titled mixtape Kiss Kiss Kiss. It contains four songs, which find Kid Sis joined by a host of guests; a press release notes that "Mickey" is a "club workout" with DJ duo Nadastrom, while "Hide & Seek" features input from Riff Raff, Sinden and 5kin&Bone5. Hip-hop heavyweight Scoop Deville (Snoop Dogg, Game) helmed "Cliq Claq" and "Gucci Rag Top (Remix)," the latter of which features Danny Brown.

This EP is evidently an appetizer for Kid Sister's sophomore LP, since she's reportedly spent "some serious time in the studio working on her next full-length album." If past experience has taught us anything, however, that doesn't necessarily mean that it will come out anytime soon.

Kiss & Tell will arrive on November 29 via Fool's Gold.

Kiss & Tell:

1. "Mickey"
2. "Hide & Seek" (feat. Riff Raff)
3. "Cliq Claq"
4. "Gucci Rag Top (Remix)" (feat. Danny Brown)
