Kanye West Finally Gives Us That Album Title

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Oct 5, 2010

At long last, Kanye West has revealed the name of his new record. Following yesterday's tweet that filled us in on his fifth full-length's official release date (November 22), Ye has delivered the next piece of the puzzle. And, frankly, we kind of knew this all along.

Ending weeks of speculation, West wrote, via his Twitter account this morning (October 5): "The official album title is and always was ........MY BEAUTIFUL DARK TWISTED FANTASY."

While a tracklisting has yet to pop up, the rapper made mention that the LP's opening cut will be fittingly titled "Dark Fantasy," a joint co-produced by RZA and No I.D. West also admitted that some of the freebies he's been serving up through his G.O.O.D. Friday downloads will be included in the collection.

And if you worried that Ye would hold back tracks due to last week's unlicensed leaking, fear not. It looks as if the completed version of "Lost in the World" is still making the cut. Dude's just so pumped for you to hear the end result.

"I ain't letting no leaks have any affect on my song choices... All of the Lights is the next single but wait till yall here the final!!!!!" West tweeted.

The way things have been rolling, we're still waiting for something G.O.O.D. to come this Friday, but with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy just over a month away, maybe the free ride is over?
