Sonic experimenter Julianna Barwick is readying her latest album Will for release next month, and she's shared another cut from the forthcoming full-length.
"Same" follows fresh on the heels of "Nebula," and features some additional vocals courtesy of Canadian pop auteur Mas Ysa (a.k.a. Thomas Arsenault).
"Mas Ysa's Seraph was by far my favourite record of last year," Barwick explained in a statement. "So, imagine my delight when Tom agreed to lend some vocals to a couple songs on my new record Will. I was wrapping up the record in beautiful Lisbon when he sent them along, and they made this track 'Same' complete."
Their voices come together in an angelic swirl, atop a delicately textured background of noise, and you can hear the intoxicating combination for yourself in the player below.
Will is due out on May 6 through Dead Oceans.
