José González is getting set to unleash his first solo album in seven years next month, but he's shared another teaser in the form of new track "Leaf Off/The Cave."
The rhythmic folk number hears the Swedish folk singer expanding his usually minimalistic sound with backing vocals and worldly musical influences. Proving his dedication to creating a fuller sound, González recently performed the track with an eight-piece band and 27-person choir on a televised awards show in Sweden.
It will likely undergo another transformation during the singer's upcoming North American tour, but right now, you can listen to "Leaf Off/The Cave" as it will appear on Vestiges and Claws.
The new album is out February 17 via Mute Records.
