John Carpenter will revisit some of his greatest works next month with the arrival of Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998, and ahead of the comp's arrival, he's shared a new video for "Christine."
The video, directed by Carpenter himself, plays as a succinct reimagining of his own film adaptation from 1983, based on the novel by Stephen King.
In a press release, Carpenter describes the accompanying track as "electronica for a killer car. Most of the soundtrack for Christine was 1950's rock'n'roll (with a main title appearance of George Thorogood and the Destroyers' 'Bad to the Bone'). I filled in where necessary."
