Jazzberry Ram, a sensational West Coast jam band, have upped their status as a professional band tenfold with Landshark. The production is by far more professional, as is their songcraft which somehow coherently marries the styles of jam band music with early 90s Red Hot Chili Peppers, with shades of pop (Ben Folds) and ska (à la No Doubt) and even some indie weirdness with slight vocal references to Shudder To Think. The harmonies are fantastic as is their approach overall. This band has definitely been doing their homework, and should receive the major label attention I think they are striving for and believe they should get.
