Way back in 2014, Jay Z and his sister-in-law Solange made major headlines thanks to a fateful elevator ride at the Met Gala. Thanks to some leaked security footage (that was verified by the family themselves), we saw Solange beat the living shit out of Hov. Fast forward to 2016, and the pair are travelling through various floors in peace.
Solange's mom and Jay Z's mother-in-law Tina Knowles had a major brain fart when she posted a photo of the two having a peaceful elevator ride. Presumably realizing that it dug up memories from 2014's Worldstar-friendly moment, she quickly deleted the photo.
Thanks to the screenshotting skills of the Internet, however, the image will live on in posterity. Check it out below. It's a timely reminder that maybe we can all get along, if only for the length of an elevator ride.
