Cheeky breakcore guru Jason Forrest hasn't released a full-length since 2005's Shamelessly Exciting, though he broke his lengthy silence with the Utopia EP in late 2010. That record clearly served as a precursor for things to come, as Forrest has revealed plans for a new album called The Everything.
A press release explains the album's title, saying, "There are elements of almost every genre one can think of -- from rockabilly to dubstep to electro-acoustics. It's an album that takes the listener on an audio tour through Forrest's musical world. In short: It's everything."
The Everything will be available on May 3 via Staastakt. The tracklisting is available below.
The Everything:
1. "New Religion"
2. "The Everything"
3. "Italian Lessons"
4. "Raunchy"
5. "Potential"
6. "The Exquisite Organs"
7. "Roger Dean Landscape"
8. "Keys To The Door"
9. "Crime Of The Century"
10. "Archive"
11. "Isolation, Too"
