Netherlands neo-psych prince Jacco Gardner has cleared the air, confirming a label change will have him delivering his next set of paisley-tinted retro pop tunes through his new home of Polyvinyl Records.
The specifics on Gardner's follow-up to 2013's Cabinet of Curiosities are few and far between, but both Polyvinyl and the performer announced today (January 12) that they're partnering up for the release, due sometime later in 2015. His debut album had been put out in North America via Trouble in Mind Records.
Polyvinyl praised its new signee by noting how, via the use of flutes, Wurlitzers and more, Gardner has already crafted "some of the most beautiful pop songs we've ever heard."
Though the upcoming set will be the European solo artist's first full-length for the label, he's also due to deliver a 7-inch as part of Polyvinyl's 2015 singles series. That release has likewise yet to be detailed.
