Isis Collect Rarities for 'Temporal'

Atmospheric metal troupe Isis called it quits back in 2010, but the group have at least one more round of goodies to give their fan base. The band have prepped a collection of rarities called Temporal, which Ipecac Records will release November 6.

A tracklisting has yet to appear for the collection, but it should include a mix of previously unreleased material, outtakes remixes and videos running through from the group's late '90s Mosquito Control period to 2009's Wavering Radiant.

"It was fun and also very nostalgic collecting material for this release," drummer Aaron Harris said in a statement. "I hear our catalogue differently now that I'm not living with these songs day to day. This is a special collection of outtakes, demos, unreleased tracks and videos; some of which I think we even forgot about."

More info is no doubt on the way.

As for the members' current activities, Harris, bassist/keyboardist Jeff Caxide and guitarist/keyboardist Clifford Meyer are expected to drop an LP by their new project Palms, which also features Deftones singer Chi Moreno, sometime in 2013 via Ipecac.

Vocalist/guitarist Aaron Turner, meanwhile, recently released the No album with his on-again, off-again metal supergroup Old Man Gloom.
